The Theotokis have several branches: the estate near the village of Giannades in Corfu has belonged for generations to the Theotokis d'Aviazzo (Νταβιάτζο), also known as Politikoí (Πολιτικοί). Among the members of this particular branch, Georgios Theotokis (1844-1916) was four times prime minister of Greece.
Today the Estate produces wine and olive oil. Its library is part of the family's private collection and consists of some 35,000 books, as well as maps, engravings, and journals, including rare books and archival material. It specializes in the history, art, iconography, religion, and law of the Byzantine Empire, the Balkans and the Ionian Islands.
