Notefloruit. The Seyfried Foundation, founded in 1620 by Christian and Hans Seyfried to promote the study of Protestant-Lutheran theology. The library was enhanced by the addition of books belonging to Paul Primmer in 1666, and through other purchases, became part of the Memmingen city collection in 1932 and was made available to the public in 1958.
