Other InformationFounded with the collection of Petrus Mitte de Caprariis; enhanced by the collections of the Antoniterkloster (dissolved 1562), in whose building it remained until 1803. In 1948, united with the general collections of the city library; in 1996 the library was divided into the general Stadtbibliothek in the Antoniterhaus and the wissenschaftliche Stadtbibliothek im Grimmelhaus.
