weitere InformationAs a student, Hertzberger did internships at the firms R.W.P. de Vries (Amsterdam) and Martinus Nijhoff (The Hague). On 17 May 1920 Menno Hertzberger opened his own shop called Internationaal Antiquariaat (International Antiquarian Bookshop) at Singel 364 in Amsterdam. In 1935 he moved the shop to Keizersgracht 610. In 1968 the shop was moved to Baarn, The Netherlands.
He was the co-founder and head of the board of the Nederlandsche Vereeniging van Antiquaren from 1935 onwards and he also co-founded the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB). Auctions, 1937-68; see also A. L. van Gendt.
