NoteFormer shelfmarks on the upper margin in brown ink ‘2.5.3’ and in the lower margin ‘HH.h.24’ (not sure about the 4). In the lower right-hand corner, partially cut out what looks like a ‘a’ in a circle also in brown ink. On this leaf also the Alessandrina stamp.
Binding noteHalf parchment over marbled pasteboard; imprint information by hand in black ink; ‘16’ on a 19th-century label at the end of the spine; sprinkled-red edges
Decoration NoteOn a1r (full-page illustration), the woodcut is partially coloured in brown ink.
