Binding noteBrown calf-leather binding on wooden boards. Busily blind-tooled design on front and back cover. Diamond-shaped pattern in a rectangular frame of either double or quadruple fillet lines. The inside of the diamonds, the edges and the corners of the frame are decorated with various stamps: circular stamp of a climbing lion, circular stamp of a flower, diamond-shaped stamp of a type of lily, circular stamp of the letter R on a shield, and small rosette-shapes.
Lacks pastedowns.
Remains of two copper clasps, and a copper chain-catch remaining on the bottom-right corner of the back cover. Chain-hole remaining on the top-left corner of the front cover.
Remains of a label on the spine that could possibly contain a title.
