Physical DescriptionContemporary Italian binding that was repaired during the late eighteenth or early nineteenth century. At the time of the repair the spine was replaced and marbled endleaves were inserted. Extensive staining from water damage.

Binding noteContemporary Italian goatskin binding with blind tooled designs and bosses in corners (3 present on front & 3 on back). Scars where clasps were attached. No labels. Spine replaced during repairs made in late 18th-early 19th century, and endleaves replaced with marbled paper.
