Decoration Notef. 2r: Lettrine “M” of “Magnas Immortales” (8 lines). Ornamental letter in blue on a background in gold. Frame alternating red and blue with yellow at joints. A decorative element in red extends from the corner. Damaged, the blue is partially faded, the left-hand corner of the frame is completely erased. Red lombards used throughout, a few in blue appear as well.
Occasional parted initials (red and blue) to mark the sections (9 lines).
