Binding note15th c. Gothic full leather binding. Blind stamped brown tanned skin. Deep cuts and scratches on the front cover, board exposed in several places, cracked in multiple spots. Battered leather on the back as well, damaged by insects. Four out of eight metal corner pieces in place (one front, three back). Two decorated catch-plates, no straps. Spine destroyed at the top, split at the joint with the front board; two fully preserved labels. Manuscript fragment used inside. Large gilded Gothic characters placed at the top of the front board.
