Decoration NoteLarge initial on 1/2r in gold and several colors, connected to an elaborate floral border that extends down the full inner margin, halfway across the top, and across the bottom of the page. The bottom portion includes a coat of arms, blazoned (from the Pembroke catalogue): "Azure on a mount in base or, an olive tree vert between three stars of six points of the second". A large initial on 1/4r is of a completely different style, in blue with elaborate infill and penwork in blue and red, connecting with a border of geometric forms that extends completely around the text and in the space between columns as well.
