Binding noteBound in wooden boards, with three cord double raised supports, laced into the boards; originally half binding with alum-tawed skin cover, now mostly gone. Traces of parchment waste spine lining and first and last gathering guards. Two clasps on front edge, fastenings missing. Traces of a chain linking to the top edge of the back board. Possibly 16th or 17th century.
