Manuscript fragments used to consolidate the spine:
I. (four fragments, approx. 55 x 130mm): written in an enlarged Northern textualis visible at the front and rear of binding; pasted to the boards/spine with the exception of one piece. Three fragments preserved on the front (two containing text) and four on the back (two with text).
II. (two fragments; front: 17-20 x 310mm, back: 14 x 314mm ): extracted from a bifolium (text written on two columns). Late 13th century/early 14th, Freanch?
The two fragments come from the notebook of a university student. They contain excerpts form Thomas Aquino's "De rationibus Fidei", "De operationibus occultis naturae" and other notes (in a more cursive hand).

Binding note15th-century Gothic full leather binding. Blind-stamped brown tanned skin. Binding in a relatively good condition; damages at the top and corners. Two decorated catch plates, no straps. Back board cracked in the middle. Title stamped at the top in Gothic characters.
The volume was bound in Krakow, according to the information available on Einbanddatenbank. Decorations in the order of appearance, with identification no. in Einbanddatenbank:
I. First row: St. Barbara [41 x 16 mm; s017117]; Madonna with child [43 x 16mm; s017118]; St. Catherine [14 x 16mm; s017119]
II. Second row: St. Barbara, Christ standing in tomb [40 x 15mm; s017120], St. Catherine
Eagles marking each corner (30 x 23mm).
Back board: arches with flowers inside (50 x 15mm).
