Manuscript Notes
Binding noteLonger note in Polish describing historical binding on the verso of left cover, in the hand of Aleksander Birkenmajer (list of the fragments of other prints and manuscripts reused in the original binding): Na nowo oprawiono w r. 1935. Dawna oprawa miała usztywnienie złożone z następującej makulatury: 1mo Fragmenty kart bb5-cc8 inkunabułu GKW. 3119 (Avicenna, Canon, Venetiis 1483) ; 2do Karta k7 druku opisanego u Panzera VIII 374 Nr. 293 (Questio de modelibus Bassani Politi cum aliis, Venetiis 1505). Pierwszą pozycję wyłączono do dubletów (por. inkunabuły Bibl. Jagiell. Nr. 674, 1713), drugą przeznaczono do ogólnego zbioru druków. Przeniesiono go do zbioru podobnych fragmentów. Original binding had fragments of two early printed books inside it (Avicenna, Canon, Venetiis 1483 and Questio de modelibus Bassani Politi cum aliis, Venetiis 1505), the cover was made of astrological Italian manuscript from the 13th or 14th c. Composite volume originally contained two more positions printed in 1510 and 1515 in Venice, thus the book was probably bound in Venice after 1515).
