NoteSimilar inscription in the same hand in Aquinas, De v[er]itate catholice fidei (Strassburg, 1474) at the Bavarian State Library. Currifex was Latin name for German Wagner, or wagon maker, hence the coat of arms with broken wheels.

Binding noteContemporary German red leather binding over wooden boards, with blind-tooled decorations on the covers. Remnants of two clasps on the front edge; marks where bosses had once been placed. Marks where paper label had once been on upper center of front cover, and remnant of paper label at bottom center. Early paper label at top of spine. Later (18th/early 19th century) red leather label stamped in gold below paper label.
