Decoration NoteIn spaces with guide letters, instead of printed woodcut initials, red Lombardic capitals provided throughout most the volume.
The space for a coat of arms on a1v filled with two superimposed unidentified coats of arms in brown ink (bendy of six; per pale argent and sable), and flanked by the initials ".Z. .?.". On C1r, bendy argent and gules (/bandato di argento e di rosso).

Additions to two printed illustrations: on C4v (Pg 2), "carlo e manuel ... qui suo fratello" written within the space of two boats in the vignette; on L3v (Pd 32), ".s. piero" by the figure of St Peter. On H5r (Pd 21) figure of Saturn covered with brown ink, unclear if deliberately.
On L8r, reading marks and minor repair includes a few letters supplied in a 16c hand.
