First leaf mounted, obscuring writing on the verso, in more than one early hand, in Italian. These inscriptions have been effaced at an earlier date. Faintly visible under a lightsheet. "Questo libro si ... C-4" "... libro sie ... me lo[?] daga che ..." "a di 23 Aprile 1580 Io. Carlo..."
