StampsOn the verso of the first leaf [ ]1 and on the last leaf x9 there are two illegible, unidentified oval stamps (15 mm) which were scrupulously blurred with black pen by Marian Swinarski and then pasted up by him with initials cut from other books. Provenance TypeInscription
NoteOwnership inscription on the left pastedown: Marian Swinarski.
Method of acquisitionunknown
Binding noteOn the verso of left cover there is a bookplate (151x250 mm) pasted in - the portrait of Georg von Khevenhüller (1533-1587) with the subscription "Georg Khavenhiller Freyherr". Khevenhüller could not be the owner of the book, due to the fact that the binding comes from the 18th century. It is most probable that Swinarski pasted the portrait inside the book to cover the exlibris (or traces of one) of the previous owner.
