NoteOval supralibros stamp on upper cover: four shields bearing an eagle, a griffin, a crowned female figure and the fourth parted per pale, with asymmetrical horizontal lines dividing each half. The shields are surmounted by a bishop's mitre, with "P A" tooled to the left, and "Z L" to the right = Placidus, Abbot zum Lambach.

Binding noteBound in semi-limp parchment manuscript waste, with cover extensions and two parchment ties. The covers formed from a 17th century(?) document. The spine has been painted over. Paper spine label with titling in ink. Half way down spine there is what may be a shelf number "203", which is repeated on the first free endpaper. The endpapers bear a watermark of a crown and lily, with the initials "lb" (similar to Bernstein, 55808). Bookblock edges sprinkled red.
