Both covers tooled in blind with rolls with panel stamps - on the left cover the representation of justice with tooled inscription: Justiciae quis quis picturam lumine cernis die deus est iustus iustum atque probatum est" ; on the right cover there is a representation of Lucretia with sword on her right hand and scale in the left hand with the inscription: "Casta tulit magnam formae Lucretia laudem et tanto magis est vulnere clara suo 1566". Both covers tooled in blind with rolls with representations of virtues: charitas, fides, spes, prudentia, temperantia. Another rolls with unidentified portraits and floral motifs. Name of the autor (LIVIUS) tooled in blind on the left cover.
