Manuscript notesAnnotations: occasional marginal annotations in Latin in a 16th-century hand; frequent underlining and highlighting with ink washes in the early part of the text; probable early ownership inscriptions almost completely deleted on a1r and M8r (illegible under ultra-violet lamp); bibliographical references in French in a 19th-century hand on front pastedown.
