Omissions in text supplied in manuscript at foot of columns; numerous manuscript notes in margins in several hands (and some short notes of commentary), with manicules, numbering, underlining, and trefoil markings used as signes-de-renvoi; a few corrections in text; some manuscript notes point at the misbinding in gathering [3] in v. 1; manuscript numbering of leaves, reading "1-985" including missing leaf [a]2 at beginning of v. 2; manuscript table on back flyleaf of v. 1 giving leaf no. of each table of contents; manuscript addition of leaf no. to chapters in tables of contents throughout the 2 vols. Several ownership inscriptions "Mon[aste]rij Montis S. Georgij" [for the Benedictines of Sankt Georgenberg] at beginning of v. 1 and at end of v. 2, with dates 1659 and 1652; bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924. In a contemporary Augsburg calf binding, originally on wooden boards, blind tooled with floral stamps, "ave Maria" inscription and symbol of St. John the Evangelist (cf. Kyriss 27, and Schwenke-Schunke Evangelisten-Symbole 3a, Schrift 192 etc. "Augsburg Schwinck-Meister"); remains of 2 clasps; paper label with handwritten author name and title on front cover of each volume; inscriptions on lower edges reading from spine to fore-edge "Prima pars pantheologie" and "Secã ps. pan."; leather tabs on 1st leaf of each table of contents; vellum fragments used as reinforcement in most of the gatherings; rebound in 1990 and 1991, retaining original leather; clasps repaired (original wooden boards kept and shelved with the book).
