Note Folger copy: lacks all leaves after leaf [g]9; edges cropped, affecting manuscript signatures. Initials provided in red with margin extension on leaf [a]1v; capital strokes, paragraph marks and a few titles also in red, with rubrication of printed punctuation; the first 5 leaves numbered by hand in first gathering. A few manuscript notes, underlining, and corrections in text in brown ink; signatures added by hand in most of the quires. Inscription on leaf [a]1r: "Coll[eg]ij Soc[ieta]tis Iesv Bruxellae dono d. Cornelij Van Zeune" and monograms "AK" and "P[?]M. B."; autograph pencilled on front free endpaper "J.E. Cooper"; bookplate of W.T. Smedley; purchased in 1924. Includes vellum sewing guards in each gathering; evidence of vellum finding tabs at beginning of each work (one remaining on leaf [d]6); edges painted in red; repaired; rebound.
