Binding noteBound in the 15th/16th c. in brown leather over wooden boards. Both covers tooled in blind with the frames made with fillets, the outer frame filled with tools with floral motifs. There is an identical central rectangular panel on both covers filled with a merrythought and pomegranate fruit tool. Two centre bosses and eight corner pieces with bosses well preserved. Rests of gothic clasps. Title tooled in blind and gold on the recto of left cover, name of the author (S. Aug[ustini] Sermo) written on the fore-edge. On the verso of left cover there is a fragment of 15th/16th c. Latin manuscript pasted. Visible binding waste (fragments of some Latin manuscript on parchment) in the end of the book. Unidentified spine labels with the shelfmark "A8".
