NoteArmorial bookplate from George John Warren Vernon on the front pastedown, bearing the motto "Vernon semper viret". Above it, there is another amorial bookplate with the same motto from an unidentified Vernon (maybe George John Warren, again).
The main part of his library was auctioned in 1918 by Sotheby’s New York on June 10th, 1918.
