Decoration NoteBlue initials on leaves 2r, 16r, 170r, 171r, 277r, 278r; 6 gilt-illuminated initials; illuminated marginal decoration with vegetal motifs; illuminated initial on leaf 16r, containing a portrait of Dante (probably retouched or added later) holding a book in his left hand; the two engravings are coloured by hand.
Coat of arms of the Bellacci family of Florence (see the following provenance blocks) on leaf 15v, surrounded by a laurel wreath: in green, divided by a silver bar, covered with 3 red roses; the same coat of arms is drawn again undernath.
