As this copy is listed in the University Library catalogue of 1669, according to Roos it most likely came from an institution within Groningen, making it possible that the inscription refers to the Franciscan convent in Groningen, since the convent in Alkmaar was already demolished in 1572 of 1573. See: A.G. Roos, ‘Catalogus der Incunabelen van de Bibliotheek der Rijksuniversiteit te Groningen.’ Groningen 1912, p. 32.
