Binding note19th-century French red morocco over millboards. Covers with gilt triple-fillet frame, gilt rolls on turn-ins, endpapers marbled. Dark blue silk (?) bookmark. All edges gilt over marbling. Tooled in gilt on the spine, reading up: in the second panel "BOIARDO | SONETTI [corrected from "SONNETTE"?] | E | CANZONE"; in the third panel “REGGIO | 1499".
