rubricationNoteRubrication in red and yellow.
msNoteAnnotations in four or possibly even five hands. In the first part, annotation in an early neat Gothic hand, red ink. The same hand creates sections in the book arranged alphabetically (upper margin of versos) and numerically (upper margin on rectos). The first few sections count up to 20 leaves, then 15, then 10 towards the end of the volume. The volume may have contained a MS index, now lost. This hand is followed by a Northern European cursive script, brown ink. The last few pages have annotations in a distinctly different hand, probably the latest, grey ink, very crude. Occasional annotations by one or two other hands.

notePaper label glued on the front board with the institution's name and, in pen '340 v. Breidenbach zu Breidenstein Str. 37'. The collection was gathered clustering other earlier collections after the Prussia's annexation of Hesse, so it probably came to be in Marburg around 1869, and it may have left the collection towards the end or in the immediate aftermath of WWII.
