noteProbably one or two institutions owned the book between c. 1650 and 1750. This is suggested by the presence of shelfmarks with high numbers. Various manuscript annotation on the front pasteboard. Some, more recent (20th c), mostly bibliographical, in pencil; some, earlier, in pen. Upper left corner, a shelfmark that could be the earliest (16/17th c?) 'i.2.306'. Lower left corner (18th c?) 'E.Th.180'.
