Cote\*34.13\Stra\M549\1466\Folio‬
NoteRecord created by John Lancaster.
Description matérielleLacks the first 195 leaves (quires [1-19]) and leaf 30/3. -- Ms. signatures (at upper right corner of first recto in each quire) are 20-40, indicating that there was a companion volume with the first 19 quires, presumably also so numbered. There are also traces of ms. signatures at the more common lower right corner, but almost entirely trimmed away and not legible. -- Press pinholes are visible at top and bottom, aligned with the center margin between the two columns of text. -- Quire [29] is probably best described as [29⁸ (29/7+1)], though possibly [29¹⁰ (-29/2)]; a large stub appears between the first and second leaves of the quire as bound.

An unusual closure apparatus, consisting of two pairs of red leather tabs, attached to the front and back covers, which mesh and are intended to have a metal stylus inserted, holding the volume closed (stylus not present).
