Decoration NoteThe edges are painted red. There is a painting along the fore-edge of an ornamental shield with the words 'Opera Aristotlis' encased within it. There is another empty decorative shield painted above it, and roses and lilies painted below it. The decoration seems to be Italian in origin.

In documentary records, he says that he purchased this volume in Mexico City from a dealer with whom he was well-acquainted.
