NoteTentative dates. On the front pastedown, along with other inscriptions in pencil later erased, the date '21.v.13' preceded by the words 'infr. temp' (tentative transcription, in pencil). This sort of inscription is found in other books that belonged to De Marinis and the writing seems that of De Marinis.
De Ricci ('English collectors of books and manuscripts', p. 179), notes that 'Many books from Murray's library passed into the hands of Edouard Rahir and of T. De Marinis'.
