Binding noteEarly 16th century English binding of brown calf over wooden boards. Tooled in blind with a diaper design, with 'pineapple' tool in each lozenge. Floral roll and fillet border around the central diaper design. Remnants of clasps. Ttitled on fore-edge in a 16th century hand, later fore-edge number in ink (early 17th century). Later morocco lettering piece on spine. Modern repair and re-back.
