Binding noteContemporary center-beveled wooden boards; spine of blind-tooled calf (18th-century?), extending a third of the way onto the boards; two fore-edge clasps (catch-plates and clasps original; straps (and probably strap-plates) later; later red and blue mottling on all edges. Early ms. signatures consist of numerical designation of the quire, on lower inner margin of the verso of the last leaf in each quire (many trimmed).
