Physical DescriptionThere is some question about the genuineness of the first leaf, or at least whether it was original to this copy, and whether the border is original or in facsimile, but it appears correct. A ms. note on the rear pastedown states: "border of the first cut in facsimile"; and an extract from Dibdin (in ms., tipped to front free endleaf 2r) refers to "the present" lacking the portrait of Aesop.
