[1]r, bianca, incompleta nota di possesso in corsivo ebraico di tipo sefardita cinquecentesco che secondo un uso diffuso mirava a scongiurare il furto del volume תנו ובכן לעולם יכתוב אדם שמו על ספרו שמא יבא אדם (‘Si scriva sempre il proprio nome su un libro affinchè nessuno’); a sinistra nello stesso stile e calligrafia; alla sua sinistra prove di penna che sembrano alludere a multe qualora la predetta misura cautelativa non fosse stata sufficiente (compare l’espressione לקנסות ‘le-qnasot’, cioè ‘alle multe’). Nella metà inferiore della c. [1]r, bianca, è stata trascritta quella che sembra una lista di crediti e debiti con tre totali distinti in numeri arabi 3901, 4031 e poco più in alto ma poco chiara 2020. Affianco a quest’ultima somma si trovano, scritte in un corsivo ebraico di tipo ‘mizraḥi’ (‘mediorientale’) settecentesco, le seguenti frasi לידי אל חכם ר' יוסף רודריך ידי (‘L’ho dato al saggio rabbino Yosef Roderich [?]’), עו'[ד] ע"י ברוך נתן (‘Altro da Baruk Natan’), עו'[ד] נתתי אני לו (‘L’ho dato Io a lui’), עו'[ד] מיטייני [?] הר' אליעזר לוי (‘Altro dal rabbino Eli‘ezer Lewi’), גיסי שמעון פנחס (‘Mio cognato Šim‘on Pinḥas’) e החכם אחי נר"ו (‘Il mio saggio fratello vivente’); ognuna con la corrispettiva (o corrisposta) cifra 1000, 533, 338, 400, 1110 e 650, a destra del riferimento a Eli‘ezer Lewi c’è נתתים לו (‘glielo ho dato’) e a quello del cognato c’è קבלם (‘prendili’) e poi 470. ע"י è l’acronimo di על ידי ‘al iedei’ (lett. ‘per mezzo di’); מיטייני è forse una trascrizione, che forniamo solo come stravagante ipotesi, dello spagnolo ‘me tiene’ (‘mi ha preso’); נר"ו è l’acronimo di ‘n.r.w.’ נטריה רחמנא ופרקיה ‘naṭrei’ah Raḥmana we-parqei’ah’ (‘Possa il Compassionevole proteggerlo e salvarlo’).
