NoteIt is unclear whether the volume belonged to the monastery as well as being bound there, and if so, when it left. The monastery was suspended in 1535; the presence of an apparent ownership date of 1549, and an annotation of 1550, suggests it was not at those times in the monastery. Manuscript title label on spine; later shelfmark label on spine.
Binding noteContemporary blind-stamped pigskin over beveled wooden boards; center clasp with lettered brass catchplate; vellum quire guards; tawed skin marker; plaited leather endbands. Kyriss shop 8: Blaubeuren, Benedictines.
