        16th century vellum binding on wooden boards, 3-banded spine with manuscript titling on the first compartment (evidence of the title and date). Underneath has been written an old Columbia call number: "E40 A76". The spine is falling apart. Black inscription in the top left corner that couldn't be read. Titling on the edges, “Cronic. Suplem.” on the tail and “Cronici. Philip Berg.” on the head.
        Could have been an original binding at first sight, but the observation of the margins shows that they have been significantly cropped, cutting some of the inscriptions (vertically and horizontally). Boards reinforced by parchment and paper leaves from medieval manuscripts (legal text?) and early printed books.

        The capital letters of the f.155r are highlighted with minium. All of the small initials are missing throughout the text.
        The 15 different books are opened by woodcut initials except: the fifteenth (M missing), the thirteenth (H missing), the fifth (Q missing, manuscript guide letter), the fourth (E missing).

        At least three different ones. Several pages of the tabula are corrected in margins, additions to the tables f.4 and f.7, precision on the first names of historical characters.
        The parts of the text relating to monasticism are notified in margin by the abbreviation "monach."
        The biblical citation was identified on f.3r.
