Several manuscript notes on front endleaf including mottos 'Vt sementum feceres, ita metes' and 'Tempore patet occulta veritas'; faded provenance notes such as 'est iste liber mens [possessorum] ... testis si ...'; and quotes including from Proverbs chapter 14 verse 23. Most annotations in the text are in a late 15th/ early 16th-century hand with a small number in a later 16th-century hand. Some manuscript notes have been cropped.
