Judging by the inscription on fol. z8 v '[...] Benedi[..] [...], this book possibly has been in the possession of the Benedictine order at some point during its use history.
Three different annotations in ink on fol. a1 r, one of them is crossed out and one is overwritten with the historic shelfmark in ink.

Binding note15th- or 16th-century binding with calfskin over wooden boards. Blind tooling on both boards; tooling is upside down. Red painted label with manuscript titling in black ink and a white painted label with a historic shelfmark in black ink on spine.
Intact brass furniture: catchplate on the long edge of the front board, leather strap with clasp and counterplate attached to the back board with the help of a strap plate. Parchment pastedown and adjacent endleaf, in front and back. Possibly bound while in the possession of the Carthusians.
