Copy Features - NoteNumerical manuscript quiring continuous throughout the volume, at lower inner margin of the first leaf of each gathering. The existence of separate ms. quiring for most of the individual copies in the volume suggests that they had been individually bound, or at least gathered and sewn, previously. This copy has separate ms. quiring.

Binding noteContemporary blind-stamped calf over unbeveled wooden boards, remains of two clasps (decorated brass catchplates retained), four decorated brass corner pieces, four-pointed star-shaped center pieces, bifolium fragment from a 13th-century scholastic or theological manuscript used as front pastedown (additional thin strips of the same ms. used as quire guards), edges stained yellow, synoptic title written on upper and lower edges. Continuous numerical ms. quiring through the volume on lower inner margin; this copy has separate ms. quiring in brown on lower outer corners of rectos. Later paper labels on spine, upper with descriptive title; lower listing the Donaueschingen inventory numbers of the works in the volume.
