Decoration NoteIllustrations and illumination: (INC034.1) 16-line Initial 'H' in blue and white with red penwork decoration and marginal extension; some smaller initials with penwork in red, blue and violet; A3v with small miniature of a Franciscan monk in place of initial "F", probably nineteenth century; (INC034.2) opening leaf GG1 with hand-painted ornamental border incorporating grotesques, putti, a medallion portrait of a boy, Turkish and Greek figures, vases, flower and fruit etc. , with one or two stains and some repairs to edges affecting border; (INC034.3) second leaf Z2 with hand-painted ornamental border incorporating flowers, urns, a winged head and a medallion of Pan with a goat, a hand-painted initial 'V' within the text.
