Binding note16th-century (?) blind-tooled pigskin; remains of one clasp (strap plate on lower cover, catch-plate on upper cover; strap and clasp missing); title written along bottom edges. Quire guards in first and last quires only. Spine lining is a portion of a Hebrew ms. on parchment. Apparently bound for the Benedictines; see Peter Wind, Die verzierten Einbande der Handschriften der Erzabtei St. Peter zu Salzburg bis 1600, Österreichische Akademie der Wissenschaften Philosophisch-Historische Klasse, Denkschriften 159 (Vienna, 1982), Tafel XXI, Rollen 20. But it's not clear how that reconciles with the bequest by Knoll in 1639.
