NoteOn leaf [a2r] coat of arm portraying on red ground a white cock bearing something pinned on his chest. On the top of the manuscript index: 'Liber Mesue Nicolai et servitorum'. Doubtfully the Evangelist theologian Nikolaus Gallus/Gall (1516-1570?).
Binding note16th century from a German area, blind tooled leather (stylized rosettes, lozenges with acorns and small squares with griffins) on wooden boards; two hooked clasps. 20th century interventions of restoration.
