Binding note16th century reversed calf with three blind fillets towards outer edges; hatching towards spine of head and tail of upper and lower boards; text block edges sprinkled red; printed waste used as endpapers (Ariststotle Commentaria In Praedicamenta, pp.69-70), with a '6' hand written on the verso of the second fly leaf in dark ink (possibly from late 16th century). Evidence of chaining towards head of upper board foredge; rebacked. Number 3 written in pen, brown ink, on the fore edge (probably referring to a previous binding/owner: see evidence 2). Fragments of manuscript leaves (presumably 15th-century pastedowns or endpapers) between A6 and A7.
