Binding noteBrown calf over pasteboards, fillets in blind. Probably English, probably early 19th century. A very crude binding in a vaguely early 17th century style, but certainly later. The lettering piece is probably reused from an earlier binding. Red-speckled edges, presumably dating from the time that the book was rebound.
