Binding noteEarly 17th century English binding: calf over wooden boards; rebacked; 4 raised bands on spine; elaborate blind stamping; blind fillets around board edges; remains of metal clasps on upper board (just holes on lower). Signs of manuscript leaves used as pastedowns (now lost) on the boards. 'Epistolai' written in capital greek along the side edge, in brown ink.
