Binding noteContemporary blind-stamped leather over wooden boards, badly scuffed and worn; marks of center and corner bosses, clasp plates and latches, no longer present; vellum MS label on front cover, paper MS label on spine. Vellum bifolium opened and pasted down as a single unit inside front cover, from a 12th-century vellum German missal with colored interlaced initials; another vellum bifolium similarly pasted down inside back cover, of a 15th-century German breviary, without initials. The binding is identifiable from tools as having been made in the monastery's bindery (identified by Matthias Eifler). Vellum quire guards. Index tabs.
