NoteBreslauer handled the sale of the Fürstlich-Stolberg-Wernigerödische Bibliothek after it closed in May 1930; the section designated "K" (“Staats- und Rechtswissenschaften") was purchased en bloc by Harvard from Alfred Lorentz in Leipzig. It is unclear whether Lorentz had purchased the books from Breslauer or was acting as agent; in the mimeographed list of the collection at the Harvard Law School library, Breslauer's heading is crossed out and Lorentz's particulars stamped in red.
