Binding noteHalf 16th-century blind-stamped brown morocco and wooden boards, rebacked and repaired; two brass clasp plates on back cover, latches and clasps gone; fragments of leather thongs. Inserted at front is a vellum leaf of a 14/15th-century MS grammar. Binding repaired in March 1987; conservator's notes mounted on rear pastedown.
